FaceBook just crushed me :(! I just did maybe my best Garyvaynerchuk.com video of all time, I loved it, I was so pumped, it was a 4 minute masterpiece and then when i hit save, I got this! Facebook video can be huge, If the quality would rev up I would use it often. What is not acceptable is this error which by the way I have gotten 5-6 times now but the other videos were 5 seconds, so i didn’t care!

I’m kickin it in the studio right now, doing my show (archives @ soundcloud.com/djtoad) and I feel like complete ass. Underslept, oversick and very meh about my current state of affairs. Ironically, I’m having one of the best shows I’ve done in quite awhile - great setlist. I’m recording it, so, if I get my ish together, it’ll be online sometime in the next week.
But this isn’t a diatribe about my lack of hosting resources. I’ve noticed that my bum-tastic lifestyle is cyclical. For the last few weeks, I’ve been going non-stop: lots of work, getting ready for the holidays, an amazing wedding, football games, one of the best concerts i’ve ever been to…you get the picture. This is how I like life to be. But inevitably there is a comedown.
And it hit me like a ton of bricks this morning. You can hear it in my voice. You can see it in my eyes. I’m done. I’ve got dirty hair, haven’t shaved and I’ve even got the drunk sorority girl rasp.
You know what I’m talking about.
With tunes wafting past in the background while I contemplate the sorry course of the last few days - ”with beginner’s luck we’ve got to take the ride” i’m realizing that it’s hibernation time. Time to curl into a ball and get myself ready for my next spurt of tearing shit up.
Bears. Beats. Fuck battlestar galactica. I’ll see you at the REM show.
